HCB Development est le clan immobilier du groupe. Il conçoit et construit des programmes au Vanuatu. Une seule équipe, du premier coup de crayon à la remise des clés. Une fois livré, le bien est soit acquis par un propriétaire qui en fait ce qu’il veut, soit confié à un autre clan de HCB Tribes pour exploitation.
L’approche est celle d’un opérateur intégré, pas d’un simple promoteur. Concevoir, c’est déjà penser comment on entretiendra le bâtiment dans dix ans. Construire, c’est déjà penser à celui qui y vivra. Nous construisons pour des décennies, avec les défis écologiques et les contraintes climatiques de notre siècle.
Notre approche
L’immobilier d’aujourd’hui n’a plus rien à voir avec celui des années 80 ou 90. Nous nous inscrivons dans la lignée des meilleurs opérateurs du green building, en adaptant leurs principes au Vanuatu. On ne copie pas un modèle qui ne tient plus compte des réalités d’un territoire ni des défis de l’époque.
Construire est un acte qui dure. Un bâtiment laid restera laid pendant cinquante ans, et avec lui, c’est tout un paysage qu’on abîme. HCB Development assume cette responsabilité ; définir une signature architecturale belle et authentique, ancrée dans le Vanuatu, qui embellisse ce qu’elle touche plutôt qu’elle ne le défigure.
Construire pour notre siècle
Construire au Vanuatu, c’est composer avec trois réalités ; la sismique, la cyclonique, et le climat tropical.
Nous concevons des bâtiments dimensionnés pour les tremblements de terre ; fondations renforcées, structures flexibles, ancrages soignés. Pensés pour les cyclones ; toitures calculées, ouvertures protégées, débords maîtrisés. Adaptés à la chaleur ; orientation optimisée, ventilation naturelle, ombrages pensés.
Côté énergie et ressources ; panneaux solaires, récupération des eaux de pluie, matériaux locaux quand c’est possible.

A conceptual study
Imagining places where one wants to stay, and building with those who will live there in mind.
HCB Development is the group’s real estate clan. It designs and builds programmes in Vanuatu. One single team, from the first sketch to handing over the keys. Once delivered, the property is either acquired by an owner who decides what to do with it, or entrusted to another clan of HCB Tribes for operation.
The approach is that of an integrated operator, not a mere developer. Designing means already thinking about how the building will be maintained in ten years. Building means already thinking about who will live there. We build for decades, with the ecological challenges and climate constraints of our century.
Our approach
Real estate today has nothing in common with that of the 1980s or 1990s. We stand in the lineage of the best green building operators, adapting their principles to Vanuatu. We do not copy a model that no longer accounts for the realities of a territory nor the challenges of the times.
Building is an act that endures. An ugly building will remain ugly for fifty years, and with it, an entire landscape is damaged. HCB Development takes this responsibility on ; defining an architectural signature that is beautiful and authentic, rooted in Vanuatu, that beautifies what it touches rather than disfiguring it.

We design buildings dimensioned for earthquakes ; reinforced foundations, flexible structures, careful anchoring. Built for cyclones ; calculated roofs, protected openings, controlled overhangs. Adapted to the heat ; optimised orientation, natural ventilation, considered shading.
